Where are your products made?
Most of our yarns and many finished goods are made here on our Kentucky farm using fiber from our Suri alpacas. Additional items are produced by trusted mill partners who specialize in high-quality alpaca products.
Is alpaca fiber itchy?
Suri alpaca is known for its silky feel and exceptional softness. Most people find it far more comfortable and less itchy than wool. Each alpaca produces unique fiber, and our job is to assess quality and the best use of each animal’s fiber, whether it be next to skin items or home goods.
How should I care for my alpaca products?
Care for each product depends on the fiber content and each product will arrive with a label that includes the care instructions. Some socks can be machine washed on gentle cycle and tumble-dried on low heat, while other socks, all gloves, hats, and scarves must be handwashed in cool water with mild detergent, reshaped gently, and laid flat to air dry. Avoid heat and agitation to maintain softness and structure.
How quickly will my order ship?
Orders ship within one business day, Monday through Friday. We choose the most efficient method, typically USPS or UPS Ground.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders within the USA ship free when your total is $100 or more.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We ship to Canada via standard USPS International. Customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I return or exchange an item?
We accept returns and exchanges within seven days of delivery with pre-approval. Items must be unused, in original condition, with tags attached. Socks cannot be returned if they’ve been tried on.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
